The perfect 90L Elaeocarpus reticulatus 'Green Dream', supplied by Tony & Sons.  This is a smaller, cultivar of the larger original species, making it well suited to this space.  A spectacular Native Australian rainforest tree.

Four beautiful 90L tropical trees were supplied by Ellenby Tree Farm.  3 x Cerbera odollum rubra Chocolate Dwarf, and 1 x Syzygium leuhmannii x wilsonii, Cascade.  All small-growing trees, they bring stunning evergreen ornamental foliage, and also act as wind breaks at both ends of the long bed, helping protect the understory.

Three months in, the garden is thriving.  The family's new puppy thinks the bed is her playpen and foodbowl, however, so it has been fenced off to deter a very happy puppy for the time being.
